Just in time for our Italy workshop, my new “Traveler” watercolor brushes are almost ready for their debut!

After years of travel and beating up brushes, I finally broke down and designed the perfect paintbrush set for adventures. No more junky brushes in the field!

The set features two collapsible, self-contained, Kolinsky Sable round watercolor bushes (a #8 and a #4), and a 1″ Golden Taklon flat with an abbreviated handle so that whole set will fit in a 7″case!

The sable rounds brush heads are protected inside their handle for transport, and fit together with the handle to provide the extra length needed for painting.

A protective case is in the works for the set, and will be ready for travel any day now!
